The Lynton Scarborough

The Lynton is an acclaimed guest house in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Finalists of the Yorkshire Moors and Coast Outstanding Customer Service Award, we aim to provide a service to the highest possible standard in a tranquil and cosy atmosphere offering excellent value for money. We do not accept single sex parties. The Lynton is 5 minutes walk from Scarborough's North Bay, 2 minutes from Peasholm Park and 10 minutes from the town centre. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilties and are attractively appointed. In each room there are tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, television, DVD player. We offer a free DVD loan service. For your comfort the rooms are centrally heated with adjustable thermostatic control and the windows are double glazed. The Lynton is ideally situated in the beautiful North Bay area, close to Peasholm Park, Scarborough Bowls Centre, the castle, Cricket Ground and Sea Life Centre. The Sands Project currently under development will offer a variety of new facilities. Within walking distance is the town centre shopping area and Theatres, including the newly refurbished Open Air Theatre, Nightclubs, Museums, Art Gallery, South Bay Amusements and Boat Trips from the busy harbour. There are a wide range of interests including golf, fishing, beautiful coastal walks and the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre in the round. Scarborough is an ideal location for bird watching with the RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs a short drive or sail away. A large part of the surrounding area is within the North York Moors National Park. which is home to Heartbeat Country and the North York Moors Railway. Within easy reach are the picturesque villages and towns of Thornton-Le-Dale, Pickering, Helmsley, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Historic York is a pleasant day trip. During the season there are many coach trips from Scarborough which allow you to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding countryside at your leisure
